Eric Mangini ( Full name: Eric Anthony Mangini ) is a  retired American football coach. Currently, he serves as a television sports analyst. Eric worked with the San Francisco 49ers from 2013 to 2015.  He was the team’s tight ends coach for two seasons prior to being promoted to defensive coordinator in 2015. However, he was fired by new head coach Chip Kelly in 2016.
