Bianca Dusic is an Australian business executive who works with The Standard International LLC as the company’s vice president of foods and beverages. She is best known as the wife of Kristen Kish, the celebrity chef and the season ten winner of Top Chef.
Dusic gained more prominence after she got married to her same-sex partner, Kristen Kish. The duo became officially engaged in 2019 and went on to tie the nuptial knot after two years in 2021. Their union has endured and is still going strong, and according to Kish, they are having the time of their lives together.
Bianca Dusic was born in her home country Australia where her entire family currently resides. Though she is of Australian nationality, Bianca has made her home in New York with her same-sex partner, Chef Kristen. Kristen Kish and Bianca Dusic have never deemed it necessary to reveal exactly when and how they met, but according to reports, the same-sex couple first crossed paths before 2019 and commenced dating immediately. After a few years of going steady, Kristen popped the big question on the 29th of September 2019 and received a ”yes” response from Bianca.
Overjoyed with the prospect of being married to the love of her life, Kish wasted no time in taking to Instagram to announce the good news. She shared a picture where the duo was seen enjoying their morning coffees as Kish gave Bianca an enduring forehead kiss while they brandished their engagement rings. The post was captioned, “She said YES to a lifetime of Sunday morning coffee dates and bed head.”
Kish previously gushed about Bianca on her birthday, saying that she is her sole reason for believing in the soul-hugging kind of love and the work involved in nurturing it. Revealing that she never believed in luck, Kish deems herself lucky to have been chosen by Bianca Dusic. Kish also dubbed Bianca “the greatest love letter ever written and brought to life.”
Kish has been quite eloquent with words of praise and admiration for her partner, dubbing Bianca her “forever date”. While releasing her latest pavlova-inspired ice cream flavor, Kish announced to the world that her fiancée is an Australian.
She also dished about their trip to meet Bianca’s family for the first time. Kish revealed that she was quite nervous at the prospect but has remained grateful that they accepted her with open arms.
Kristen Kish and Bianca Dusic’s official engagement lasted for barely two years before they decided to culminate their relationship in a wedding.
On the 18th of April 2021, the same-sex couple exchanged wedding vows. Theirs was a backyard wedding which was all due to the then-ravaging Corona Virus pandemic. It was an intimate affair presided over by Justice of the Peace Shelley Armatino.
The newlyweds were sighted in black attires. While Bianca Dusic appeared in a black-colored sleeveless mock-neck dress, Kish wore a black blazer complete with leather sleeves and a layered-over white shirt.
The couple wrote their own vows, which were exchanged in the presence of family and a few friends.
Talking to Today Food, Kish said their wedding was small and intimate but yet turned out to be more perfect than they expected or imagined.
The couple’s union has lasted two years and still counting, and according to Kish, life couldn’t get any better; she revealed this in January 2023 via her Instagram.
